Hey friend!
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about what it means to be authentic.
It seems like everywhere I look someone is riffing on the importance of being true to you. Your highest self, most authentic self, magnetic self… I even heard the term full-spectrum self on a fave podcast this weekend (which, naturally, I love as a hemp wellness advocate!)
But what does it really mean to embrace & embody this elusive, pure essence of self?
Better yet, how do you even know who that really is?!
I certainly don’t have all the answers, but I do know one thing: there is great power in discovering, owning & loving yourself fully. And, maybe that’s a never-ending journey.
Here’s one fun, quick tip I learned for tapping into your most authentic self: think about what you loved- like what you were really into- as an eight year old. What did little you love to do?
It may seem silly to consider that playing mermaids, making friendship bracelets or building forts has anything to do with who we are as adults. But what’s at the core of those childhood passions?
Is it the act of creating something beautiful or the idea of self-expression. Or maybe it’s simply a feeling of connection to others or to nature.
I’d love to know, is self-exploration something you’ve been into lately?
Let me know, as this is a topic I’m really diving deep into lately & I’d love to hear what you think!
Much love & gratitude,
Samantha Frazier
