4. Regulate Through the Body Self-safety isn’t just a mindset—it’s a felt sense. Try this quick practice: hand on your heart, hand on your belly. Take three deep, slow breaths. Feel your feet on the ground. Let your body know it’s safe to soften.

5. Create a Self-Soothing Anchor Find an affirmation that brings you back home. Mine? “I am safe because I have my back and the Universe has my back.” Say it when you’re spiraling. Whisper it when you’re on the verge. Use it like a life raft.
